Welcome to Room 7!

In our first grade classroom, I hope to build a positive environment for all students, where everyone feels welcome. I work hard to build an environment of inclusion and kindness, as well as teach strategies to students to work on coping skills. We will work hard to become readers, mathematicians, writers, artists and scientists! 

A Little About Me

I attended Marple Newtown School District, so I feel so lucky to be teaching in the district I grew up in! I attended Bloomsburg University for my undergraduate degrees in early childhood education and special education, and am a little more than halfway completed my graduate courses at Gwynedd Mercy University. I am recently married to my husband, Matt, and we have two pets, a cat named Olive, and a dog named Kobe! I love spending time traveling, at the beach, reading, painting, and exploring new places! I'm looking forward to working with you and your child!
